Next was designed focusing on the tear-drop shape of the counter and the equality of x-height and width. The circular shape is repeated throughout the type and is shown in the ascender of the "f" and arm of the "r". The teardrop shape shape found in all the counters, excluding "o" and "c", is a combination of a circle and a square. The direction of the counter shape changes with the letter according to where the ascender and descender is located.
Oultine was designed focusing on overlapping corners. The outlined, sans serif font was made more compelling by showing the overlap by ending the stroke. Each character has its own overlapping element(s)
